• @baker @phinnia We used to get him salmon meatballs from The Meatball Shop (we ordered from there as something of a tradition on Fridays). They've stopped making them and I'm trying to figure out a way to make something like that myself for him.

  • @teohemka Fortunately, my employer has so far not adopted THAT mindset. They're more likely to want me up and in 6:30 a.m. WebEx meetings to accommodate London and Pune because I have no more commute.

  • @phinnia You chose this path. You didn't really think it would be easy, did you?

  • @phinnia There's a lot he's learned to lie quietly through these days.

  • @phinnia Or being recruited by the Yakuza. Sometimes I dream I'm being recruited by the Yakuza. #LaudableGoals 🍣

  • @phinnia Also wilfully deaf. One of your brothers-in-law is wilfully deaf.

  • @hollyhoneychurch He never was that keen on meatballs with fillers in 'em. The salmon ones were entirely meat, and the Infanta is entirely finicky.

  • @phinnia @hollyhoneychurch I wish The Meatball Shop had those salmon meatballs we used to give him. He seemed to enjoy Meatball Night.

  • Technically 14, but I'm a pedant.

  • @phinnia At least the weather will be warm.

  • @arush Yes. Give me all the IRC and Slack resources. Also, do you find the micro.blog editor to be a bit glitchy accessibility-wise?

  • @phinnia I mean, I suppose technically we call him "the Infinra", but that's a long story that involves autocorrect.
